He was either a conductor, or motorman on the streetcar line. His name appears on the Michigan 1870 Census taken in Romeo Michigan, June 21, 1870. Also listed are a Brother George 9 years old, a sister Jane, 7years old, and parents George 37, and Rachel 28.
